Sonnedix to reach 287.7 MW of operational capacity in Italy with its latest acquisition of a 11.4 MW solar PV portfolio
Sonnedix, the global solar independent power producer (IPP) has completed the acquisition of a 11.4MW solar PV portfolio in Italy, from the Swiss company ZHC Holding AG.
The portfolio consists of 10 ground-mounted solar photovoltaic plants in operations since 2010/2012. The plants are located in the Tuscany and Apulia regions of Italy, and they all benefit from the Italian Conto Energia FiT regime.
“We are delighted to continue growing our solar platform in Italy, where we currently have 148 projects in operations, totalling almost 318MW”, said Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix. “Transactions like this further demonstrates our commitment to Sustainable Growth, pushing the energy transition forward while we harness the power of the sun to build a bright future!”
Sonnedix currently has a total capacity of over 4.6GW, including a development pipeline of more than 2GW. With over 350 projects across eight countries, Sonnedix continues actively looking for acquisition and development opportunities in Italy, and across other OCDE countries.
